Upon arriving at Vale View Barn, we were immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that greeted us at this charming countryside retreat. the hosts, Jeff and Breda, went above and beyond to make our stay special, with thoughtful touches that truly made us feel at home. the breakfast hamper was filled to the brim with delicious treats, setting the tone for a perfect start to our day exploring the beautiful surroundings. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and well-equipped, with a cozy living room complete with a large sofa bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. the bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and shower ensuring a restful night's sleep. the fireplace added a touch of coziness to the space, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning terrace overlooking the picturesque garden, where we spent many relaxing moments soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. the children's playground was a bonus for families traveling with little ones, offering a fun and safe space for play. the convenient location, just a short distance from Grantham and Nottingham, made it easy to explore the area and enjoy all it has to offer.
